In these challenging times, here’s how we're keeping the music playing.

For our current students, we are grateful that we can provide your lessons online while keeping everyone healthy! We’ve already conducted a bunch of online lessons, and the feedback from students has been 100% positive.

Providence School of Music continues to welcome new students!

For new students, online music lessons are the ultimate antidote to cabin fever. Learning in the comfort of your home can be a truly engaging new way to make these days really fun.

How your remote lessons will work via ZOOM:

Before your lesson, we’ll send you a ZOOM link by email and text. The Zoom app is easy to use. You can even record your lesson! We recommend that you download the ZOOM Cloud Meetings app in advance, so you're prepared on your lesson day.

At the time of your lesson, click the link from your phone, iPad or laptop. You'll be prompted to download or run ZOOM on your device. Just follow the simple instructions. To see and hear your teacher, enable your camera and join using Internet Audio. In the ZOOM "chat” window, your teacher can either...

  • share links to online music for you to print at home
  • send you a link to view the music online
  • send YouTube links to voice students who need accompaniment music at home.

You can also scan your music and send it prior to your class to info@providenceschoolofmusic.com. We'll get the music to your teacher.

Your teacher can help you get the most out of your lessons online. And if you're unable to attend an online lesson, we can record a video lesson for you, so you can learn and practice at your convenience.
