We’re happy to announce that all students can now choose in-person or Google Meet lessons. And, you can decide on a week-to-week basis which option you prefer. Either way, your lesson will occur at your normal day and time.

Want a recorded lesson instead of online or in-person? Please give us at least 24 hours advance notice so your teacher can prepare.

How Remote Lessons work via Google Meet:

Before your lesson, we’ll send you a Google Meet link by email and text. The Google Meet app is easy to use. We recommend that you download the Google Meet app in advance, so you're prepared on your lesson day.

At the time of your lesson, click the link from your phone, iPad or laptop. You'll be prompted to download or run Google Meet on your device. Follow the simple instructions to see and hear your teacher, enable your camera, and join using Internet Audio. In the Google Meet "chat” window, your teacher can...

  • share links to online music for you to print at home
  • send you a link to view the music online
  • send YouTube links to voice students who need accompaniment music at home.

You can also scan your music and send it prior to your class to info@providenceschoolofmusic.com. We'll get the music to your teacher, and help you get the most from every lesson.

If you can't attend an online lesson, your teacher can record a video lesson for you, so you can learn and practice at your convenience.
